JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Have good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Have an excellent health, safety and attendance record.
  • Requires a minimum of graduation diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience in the servicing and repair of vehicle air conditioning systems.
  • Requires a valid Class ‘D’ driver’s license with ‘Z’ Air Brake endorsement
  • Preferred if one has their AC ticket or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience, preferably in Fleet Maintenance environment dealing with a variety of light and heavy vehicles and up to date on automotive electronics.
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment, ie: scanners, digital meters, tire balancers, brake lathes, and AC filling and testing equipment.

JOB CONDITIONS

  • Candidates must complete training.
  • Candidates will not change their employment during the contract period and shall not carry or do business as per the terms of the Canadian visa.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.
  • Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Perform in-fleet servicing on new vehicles according to manufacturer's specifications/ guidelines.
  • Perform buy back/turn back service according to company procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Perform other related duties as required
