JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in field electrical.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience in the Signals & Communications field is an asset.

JOB CONDITIONS

  • Candidates must complete training.
  • Candidates will not change their employment during the contract period and shall not carry or do business as per the terms of the Canadian visa.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform work in accordance with applicable Electrical Codes and/or Engineering/Technical specifications;
  • Install, repair, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot a variety of electrical systems and equipment as required in: buildings, structures, floating plants, and tunnels;
  • Perform troubleshooting of Program Logic Controllers (PLC);
  • Work cooperatively with signal maintainers on technical issues and troubleshooting.
  • Perform general labor tasks as necessary including operating equipment.
  • Maintain electrical equipment, according to the preventive maintenance program;
  • Respond efficiently and effectively to electrical service calls.
